Bryan was raised in Broken Arrow and grew up playing the BASC system. He played competitively with Excalibur and Star Express. His dad Ray was also a long serving competitive and recreational coach within the BASC system. He got his start in coaching with fellow HFC coach Jim Rhein at Bixby High School from 1996-2001. His duties included assistant coach and goalie coach for the girls program.  He was assistant All State coach in 1997 and 2001 as Jim was nominated head coach by his peers.

1999 was his first year with HFC, as he and Jim co-coached the 88 Boys team until their graduation in 2006. That team won multiple tournaments, league titles and was always a contender in OSA state tournaments. He also took over the goalie trainer duties for HFC in 2002 and also trains the Recreational goalies for BASC. 

In 2003 he joined other fellow HFC coaches Anthony Richardson and Kyle Cussen for a season at ORU as goalie coach for the Women’s team. 

Bryan has been the goalie for the Tulsa Roughnecks from 1995 to present and played in the USISL to most recently the PASL (A feeder league for the MISL)

Currently besides his duties as club Goalie coach he also is the assistant coach for the HFC Richardson 91 boys and 89 girls’ teams.

He currently works at Verizon Business in the Wholesale Service Delivery group and lives in Tulsa with his wife Kendi, whom he married in 2005.

Goalkeeper Training is free to all TSC Hurricane goalkeepers.
